Wait on God

We all go through trials in life. We all have our fair share of problems we face. But do we give up? Or do we continue to have faith and trust in God to fulfill our purpose and journey in life. When everything is going great with us we tend to praise God the most, we feel as though we are not giving him enough praise and worship he deserves. But when trials and heartache comes our way, Do we keep thanking him, and praising him, Or do we question him and give him all the complaints we could ever come up with?

We are always in a rush for everything, but God is not in a hurry, he has his time for everything. God has a plan and purpose for everything. God has a time frame for everything, we tend to get discouraged, but we have to be careful how we think because God always has a good reason for making us wait. We do not have control of our lives, God is the one who controls our lives. He is the Almighty God that wakes us up in the morning, provides the air for us to breath, keeps our family safe throughout the day and my list could go on and on about how God has control of our lives. He is the only one that could give life and take it away.

Some of our trials we face are:

  • Health issues
  • Financial issues
  • Spiritual issues
  • Job issues
  • Family issues
  • Marital issues

But do we face these trials alone, or do we ask God for his help? How many of us take the time to wake up in the morning and pray? How many of us take the time to do a fast and prayer when we really need to? Are we tempted to frustrate ourselves day and night and cry ourselves to sleep?

James 1:12- says ” blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.”

How many of us spend time speaking to God, telling him your problems, your hurt, your pain, asking him to comfort you and strengthen you. Does your faith and trust in God decrease because of a little trial we face? Do you forget the greatest sacrifice God had done for us to save us from our sins?

John 3:16- says “for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

When you go through trials, it is the best time for you to have the most faith and trust in God. We must thank him everyday for his Grace and Mercy he gives to us even though we do not deserve it. But he gives us because he loves us.

Psalms 86:15- says ” but you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.”

When we hold on to God through our thick and thins, whatever we set our minds and heart on God blesses us with it. His work is sure. He will never leave us empty handed. We must remember to thank him for the blessing before it comes. So instead of complaining, think about all the blessing he has given to you already and all the blessings he has in store for you. Every rope has an end, he would not give us more than we could bare. So when we are complaining remember there is somebody suffering more than you. There is somebody who never found God in their life. You have found him, so make sure you dont lose him.
